Place of find:

Near Camel Donga, on the Nullarbor Plain,

Western Australia

30°19'S., 126°37'E

 

Circumstances of find:

The first stone weighing 503 g was found by Mrs. J.C.

Campbell. Eleven more stones were discovered in a 1 km

area of the original site by B. Mason and W H. Cleverly

in July, 1985. Many other stones have since been found.

 

Information:

Camel Donga is a brecciated, monomict, basaltic eucrite

containing lot of metal, for a Eucrite and is one of the

freshest Eucrites available on the market.
